Who is NicTrades? I am a professional trader, ex RAF, and technical analysis geek. I have studied technical analysis for 10 years and I am a Technical Analyst contributor at Forex Analytix and Vox Markets. For the past couple of years I have been trading at a London family office type hedge fund. I have a partner on this website who is a computer genius, maths nerd and all round good guy who makes the model work.
Who is Pythia? Pythia was a priestess at the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, Greece. She was the most powerful woman of the classical world and known as "The Oracle of Delphi". In classical antiquity, an oracle was a person or agency considered to provide wise and insightful counsel or prophetic predictions or precognition of the future, inspired by the gods. As such it is a form of divination. We thought this was a good name for our Algorithmic trend following model.

We use Fibonacci, our model Pythia, moving averages, support and resistance and classical chart patterns for trade ideas.
